Welcome to Kingston Self Storage. By choosing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our storage facilities.
1. Rental Agreement
By renting a storage unit from us, you agree to the terms outlined in this agreement. Each rental is subject to availability and acceptance by Kingston Self Storage.
1.1 Unit Allocation
- Units are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- We reserve the right to upgrade or downgrade unit sizes based on availability.
1.2 Lease Duration
The minimum lease period is one month. You may terminate the lease with a 30-day written notice.
2. Payment Terms
All payments are due on the first day of each month. Late payments may incur additional fees.

2.2 Late Fees
An additional fee of $25 will be charged for payments received after the due date.
3. Access to Units
Customers have access to their storage units during the facility's operating hours.
3.1 Security Measures
- 24/7 surveillance cameras
- Electronic gate access
- On-site management
3.2 Lost Keys
Replacement keys are available for a nominal fee. Please report lost keys immediately to ensure the security of your unit.
4. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited from being stored:
- Perishable goods
- Hazardous materials
- Illegal items
- Live animals
4.1 Hazardous Materials
Storing hazardous materials such as chemicals, flammable substances, or explosive items is forbidden and may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement.
5. Liability
Kingston Self Storage is not liable for any loss or damage to stored items, except where due to our negligence.
5.1 Insurance
Customers are encouraged to obtain insurance for their stored items as we do not provide coverage.
5.2 Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control.
6. Termination of Agreement
You may terminate the rental agreement by providing a 30-day written notice. Failure to comply may result in additional fees.
6.1 Early Termination
Early termination may be subject to a termination fee equivalent to one month’s rent.
6.2 Non-Renewal
If you do not wish to renew your lease, please notify us at least 30 days before the lease end date.
7. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you are responsible for maintaining the security and condition of your storage unit.
7.1 Maintenance
- Keep the unit clean and free of pests.
- Do not tamper with security systems.
- Report any suspicious activities to management.
7.2 Compliance
Ensure all stored items comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
8. Amendments
Kingston Self Storage reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes.
8.1 Notification
Changes will be communicated via email or posted at the facility entrance.
8.2 Acceptance
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Kingston Self Storage operates.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitration authority.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
12. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the customer and Kingston Self Storage, superseding all prior agreements or understandings.
By renting a unit with Kingston Self Storage, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
